Stockton R1 School phone lines are working properly again. Thank you for your patience and understanding today.

Stockton R1 is experiencing phone line issues due to a fiber optic line which was damaged between Fair Play and Walnut Grove. Windstream and AT&T are aware and working on the problem. If you need to contact the school please email the building secretaries until this issue is resolved. The school will post a message when the issue is fixed.

Take a look at these hard workers! The 3rd Grade Winter Garden Club is renovating the area into a multi-purpose garden/learning space. They received a generous Community Foundation Grant and have some amazing ideas! Since they are needing to stay within a budget and are big on reusing when possible, they wanted to ask if you have any of these items sitting in your garage or yard you'd be willing to donate:
*Landscape timbers 8ft length
*Bird houses
*Shepherds hooks
*Large outdoor thermometer
*Rain gauge
*Sundial
*Black chalkboard paint
If so, please email cprice@stockton.k12.mo.us or contact the elementary office.

Garden club for 3rd grade is cancelled this evening- January 11th

Students in Mrs. Johnson’s 10th grade Biology classes are studying DNA formation and making examples of chains.

Starting tomorrow, Middle School 2nd quarter grade cards and spring 2018 MAP results are available for pick up in the MS office. Those grade cards not picked up by Friday afternoon will be sent home with students.

High Schools 1st semester grade cards went home with students today. Spring EOC results will be sent home Friday.

Today our 4th graders became surgeons at the Whitesell Hospital. Their classroom transformation even included a surgeon name tag, face mask, and pair gloves for each student. After focusing on non-fiction text features this past week, they had to operate on their own patients (magazines) and find the text features that were needed before "stitching them up." Way to go 4th graders!

What do 27 third graders and 4 adult volunteers do at the end of the day on Fridays? They get to work! The third grade winter garden club is spending time each Friday redesigning and making the outside garden into a multi-purpose area that can be used for gardens, outside class projects, and learning fun. Be sure to watch for updates. They are dreaming big and willing to do the work themselves!
